Jesse H. Ausubel简要介绍：

Jesse H. Ausubel是美国著名的环境学家、生态学家。研究领域主要包括环境科学和技术、产业 生态学。目前在美国纽约洛克菲勒大学担任人类环境计划的主持人（director of the Program for the Human Environment）。同时，自1994年起，他还担任着Alfred P. Sloan基金会的主持人（Program Director for the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation），该基金会用以帮助国际海洋生物普查计划（the Census of Marine Life）的实施。另外，他于2006年受邀担任生命百科全书计划（the Encyclopedia of Life）的主席。

Jesse H. Ausubel发表论著超过150篇，影响巨大。其代表作之一，Changing Climate (National Academy, 1983) 首次全面地回顾了温室效应，推动了IGBP（International Geosphere-Biosphere Program）的创建。
